A Configuration Example for Port Forwarding

Network environment

A business uses a HiPER 841 Router (Version: kv841v10.bin) to connect to the Internet. There are 15 computers in the internal network.

 

User Requirements

The business wants an internal OA server (IP Address: 192.168.16.3) to open Web service (Protocol: TCP; Port: 80) for traveling employees to access.

 

Configuration Steps

1. Go to NAT > Port Forwarding page, and then click the New button or select the Port Forwarding Settings tab to go to the setup page.

 

 

2.Configure the port forwarding entry, as shown in the following figure.

 

 

3. Click the Save button to save the settings and go back to the Port Forwarding List, see the following figure. 

The configuration of port forwarding is now complete. Then the traveling employees can directly access the server via the external IP address or domain name.
