How to Configure the Scheduled Task of Restarting a Router Every Day

This document describes how to configure the scheduled task of restarting a UTT Router every day.
 
Prerequisites
Requirements
 
A Company installed a UTT router HiPER 4240G as a gateway to access Internet. As the traffic is fully loaded every day, the Administrator want to restart the Device every night automatically at around 23:59:59 to make the Device working more properly and stably.

UTT Router HiPER 4240G;
Firmware version: ReOS V10

Configuration Steps
Enter the LAN IP address of the Router (192.168.16.1 by default); Go to Advanced > Miscellaneous webpage, click Display Schedule Task, and click Save button.
 
 
Configure the Scheduled task details. Set the Repeat to Every Day, Start Time to 23:59:59, Task Type toPredefined, Task Content to Restart, and click Save button.
 
 
It is strongly suggested to restart the Device when the network traffic is light, for example midnight or nonworking time.
 
To ensure the Device restart time is correct, it is strongly suggested to go to System > Time webpage to confirm your current system time on the router. You can modify the time one Time Settings webpage Manually or via SNTP.
 
 
 
Verify
The Router HiPER 4240G will restart every day at 23:59:59 according to the configuration of Scheduled Task.
