Introduction

This document describes WLAN Controller works in bypass mode configuration steps.

Prerequisites

Requirements
All users Obtain IP Address from 192.168.100.0/24
 
Components Used
UTT WLAN Controller: WX1000; Firmware Version: WX1000V1.9.3-140609;
UTT WLAN in-wall AP: WA1300N; Firmware Version: WA1300NV1.9.3-140514;

Configuration
  1. Configuring System Mode. Go to Network >System Mode page, select Bypass Mode, next configure it, then clickSave, as shown in Figure 1-1:
Note:It need to restart the device to take effect after switching the Device Mode.

  1. Disable the DHCP Server. Go toNetwork > DHCP Server > DHCP Address Pool List, next click default,as shown in Figure 1-2, then disable Checkbox, click Save, as shown in Figure 1-3:

  1. Modify default WLAN. Go to AP Controller >WLANs > WLAN List page, next click default, as shown in Figure 1-4, then modify wireless SSID and Password, click Save, as shown in Figure 1-5:

  1. Join WLAN. Go to AP Controller > AP Management > AP List page, select one list, then input password(password is “admin” by default), click Admin, as shown in Figure 1-6, then click Join WLAN, as shown in Figure 1-7, then select default, next click Join WLAN, as shown in Figure 1-8, after that, you will see “Joining WLAN Please Wait”, as shown in Figure 1-9:

So far, you have finished your configuration, then you can connect to the SSID to have a text.
