How to Access Router Web GUI via WAN

Introdction
This document describes how to access the router web GUI over the Internet when you are outside of the local network.
 
Prerequisites
1. a UTT Business Router (hereinafter shorted as “the Router"), such as UTT router N518W, AC750W, AC750GW, AC1220GW, ER518, ER840G and ER4240G. Firmware Version: 3.0.0 or above
2. a PC/laptop connected to the Router wirelessly or through an Ethernet cable
 
Configuration 
1. Go to System Configuration > Management Policy > Remote Management, enable remote access and click Save. (Default remote port 8081)
 
2. Check your WAN IP address on Network > WAN 
 
3. You can access the Router’s Web GUI via http://WAN IP:8081 or WAN IP:8081
