Overview

The UTT ER4240G Business VPN Router (hereinafter referred to as “ER4240G”) provides enterprise-level, highly secure and reliable connectivity to the Internet for small and medium offices.

ER4240G has 4 x 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet WAN ports and 4 x 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet LAN ports, which will offer multiple choices for ISP connections and real-time backup and failover and load balance.

ER4240G supports smart QoS, which automatically allocates reasonable bandwidth, making sure users can download movies and play video games at the same time. It also supports various VPN functions such as IPSec PPTP and L2TP that can be easily established.

Load Balance, Backup and Failover

ER4240G supports load balance and real-time failover. When two or more Internet connections are set up, one can set as the primary connection and the other one as the backup connection. The connections can also be set in load balancing mode, which means the device will distribute the connection according to different IP address or NAT session. Furthermore, it also supports policy-based routing of different ISPs.

Flexible Bandwidth

This very unique feature can optimize bandwidth for maximum network performance with only two steps: 1) enable this function, and 2) set up a specific bandwidth for each Internet connection.

ER4240G supports IP/MAC address binding, invalid IP address, MAC address filtering and easy blacklist/whitelist setting.

ER4240G supports binding all the dynamic IP/MAC entries with only one-click operation.

VPN

ER4240G supports up to 30 IPSec/PPTP/L2TP VPN tunnels. Users can setup site-to-site or client-to-site VPN via dynamic IP address or domain names.

Configuration and Management

ER4240G offers an intuitive web interface which delivers an easy-to-use user experience with rich functions. It supports easy management, which will guide users to finish the initial configuration step by step.

System Status, Host List and Flow Statistics deliver a convenient platform to trap and remove network faults.
