Overview

The UTT N518W VPN Wireless Router (hereinafter referred to as “N518W”) provides enterprise-level, highly secure and reliable connectivity to the Internet for SOHO, offices and SMBs.

N518W has 2 fixed 7dBi omni-antennas. It supports 802.11n wireless networking standard and is compatible with 802.11b/g. It offers 1 USB slot for file sharing. MIMO technology enables it wireless transmission rate up to 300Mbps.

N518W supports CCA, extended for clear channel assessment, which can automatically adjust channels to avoid signal interference. It supports WDS to extend the coverage of wireless network. It supports smart QoS, which automatically allocates reasonable bandwidth for wireless stations, making sure users can download movies and play video games at the same time. It also supports files sharing by one USB port.

Wireless Speed

The maximum wireless transmission speed can be up to 300Mbps. Broad wireless coverage and steady wireless data transmission will meet high bandwidth demands for HDTV, streaming media, games, video chats, wireless monitoring and etc.

Compatibility

N518W supports IEEE 802.11n, IEEE 802.11b and IEEE 802.11g. The multi-protocol compatibility promotes the capability to connect a wide range of wireless devices.

Wireless Mode

N518W offers wireless operating modes including Access Point mode and WDS mode, which meet the demands for different networks. N518W can build a wireless network from scratch or be used to expand the existing wireless network.

N518W supports binding all the dynamic IP/MAC entries with only one-click operation.

VPN

N518W supports up to 5 IPSec/PPTP/L2TP VPN tunnels. Users can setup site-to-site or client-to-site VPN via dynamic IP address or domain names.

Configuration and Management

N518W offers an intuitive web interface which delivers an easy-to-use user experience with rich functions. It supports easy management, which will guide users to finish the initial configuration setp by step.

System Status, Wireless Host List and Flow Statistics deliver a convenient platform to trap and remove network faults.
