Introduction
This document describes how to upgrade the firmware on a UTT router.
Prerequisites
Requirements
The client who wants to upgrade the firmware of a UTT router to get the upgraded new function..
Components Used
UTT Business Router: N518W, AC750W, AC750GW, AC1220GW
UTT SOHO Router: AC650W, AC60
Configure
I. Upgrade firmware on a UTT business Router
- Login the Web GUI of the UTT router (make sure your computer’s IP address is in the same subnet of the router. UTT router’s default IP address: 192.168.1.1)
- Goto System > Firmware Upgrade, click “Choose File” and select the firmware that you want to upgrade.

- Click “Upgrade” button and click “OK” button to confirm your upgrade.

II. Upgrade firmware on a UTT SOHO Router
- Login the Web GUI of the UTT router (make sure your computer’s IP address is in the same subnet of the router. UTT router’s default IP address: 192.168.1.1)
- Click Application, and then click 2, click Firmware to jump to the firmware upgrade page.

- Click “Choose Files” and select the firmware that you want to upgrade, click “Upgrade“ button, and click “OK” to confirm the upgrade

Tips:
- It is strongly recommended that you upgrade the firmware when the Router is under light load.
- If you upgrade firmware timely, the Router will have more functionality and better performance. The right upgrade will not change the Router’s current settings.
- To avoid any unexpected error or unrecoverable hardware damage, do not power off the Router during upgrading.
- After the upgrade is complete, the Router will automatically restart in order for the new firmware to take effect, without human intervention.
