How to Configure Notification on AC750W

 
One of the new features in AC750W is Notification, which is used to push notifications to the specified LAN users. The system provides two types of notice: Daily Routine Notification and Account Expiration Notification.  

Components Used

  • UTT AC750W or UTT AC750GW
  • Firmware Version: AC750Wv1.7.0-150602 and above
 

Configuration Steps

  1. Configuring Daily Routine Notification
Go to Web UI of AC750W, select App Control > Notification > Daily Routine Notification as shown in Figure 1 below.

  1. Configuring Account Expiration Notification
Select App Control > Notification > Account Expiration Notification as shown in Figure 2 below.

Note:

Remember to enable Daily Routine Notification or Account Expiration Notification upon confirming the notification content.
In general, Daily Routine Notifications are sent once per day, while Account Expiration Notifications will be only sent to PPPoE users.
If the system sends a notification to a LAN user, who hasn’t opened a web browser yet, the pushing will fail; and once the user opens a web browser and navigates to any website, he/she will receive the notification immediately.
