The UTT WA2550N (hereinafter referred to as “WA2550N”) is a cutting-edge wired and wireless access point that integrates high-speed 802.11ac Wi-Fi into an ultra-sleek, low-profile design.

Designed for offering converged services within hotel lobbies and school dormitories, the WA2550N offers an easy way to offer multiple connections into a single room without multiple cables.

The WA2550N delivers high performance 2.4GHz/5GHz 802.11ac wireless coverage.

The WA2550N is powered by a single PoE cable drop with no additional cabling, switch ports, and power sourcing equipment.

The WA2550N can be configured as a standalone device or centrally managed by UTT WiFi Controllers.

The WA2550N can broadcast up to four SSIDs per device.

 

The 802.11ac standard delivers high-speed connectivity and extends coverage in-room and beyond.

The WA2550N supports IEEE 802.11ac, IEEE 802.11a, IEEE 802.11n, IEEE 802.11b and IEEE 802.11g. The multi-protocol compatibility promotes the capability to connect a wide range of wireless devices.

The WA2550N can be configured in fat AP mode or centrally managed by the UTT WX800S or WX1000S, the wireless controllers designed by UTT technologies.

The WA2550N, powered by PoE technology, can be installed into the ceiling.

The WA2550N offers multiple wireless security modes: WEP, WPA-Enterprise, WPA2-Enterprise, WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK. Wireless MAC address filtering provides users with comprehensive protection for wireless transmission to keep your network far away from intrusions and attacks.

WA2550N supports up to four SSIDs. Users can customize configuration of each SSID. This feature will ensure the security of SSIDs in different service zones.

The WA2550N’s roaming will ensure that the wireless device keeps connected to the network of same service zone. Users’ network connections won’t be interrupted while moving from one access point coverage zone to another.
